Mission Statement

St. Gabriel School came into existence in the year 1881 After the Death of our Lord. The school's purpose is to provide an excellent education for children, which is done by the dillegent work of each and every teacher here. The school aims to foster growth of each student spiritually, intellectually, and physically by:

  • Providing resources which will enable the students to work happily in a Catholic environment.
  • Using current books and methodology.
  • Developing technology skills to enable the students to meet the challenges of the future.
Our Curriculum

St. Gabriel School is dedicated to offering an enriching curriculum that appropriately speaks to the developmental needs of each child.  St. Gabriel follows the curriculum guidelines established by the Archdiocese of Chicago, which all Catholic schools in Chicago are required to follow.  Our current curriculum includes: Language Arts, Science, Math, Physical Education, Religion and Art.
