Recent News

St. Gabriel is pleased to report that the students in the Class of 2008 received more than $12,000 in scholarships toward their high school educations.  This money was received as a result of high entrance test scores as well as performance in various essay contests.

Nicholas Carroll-$1000 from De La Salle Institute

Robert Popp-$1000 from De La Salle Institute—Robert also won 1st place in De La Salle’s Essay Contest

Daniel O’Dea-$1000 from St. Rita—Daniel also received St. Rita’s Mustang Award

Peter Hillgamyer received the Cascian Award from St. Rita.

Canaryville Veterans' Memorial Day Essay Contest

First place winner: Rebecca Brazel

Second place winner: Julie Galvin

Third place winner: Nicholas Carroll

 

The Mickey Drobitsch Memorial Essay

Every 8th grade student wrote an essay and each received an award of $160 from the Drobitsch Family.

 

The Brett Allen Fuller (BAF) Essay Contest

First place winner: Mary Kate Roland

Every student in the class wrote an essay and each received a monetary award from the Fuller Family.
